Australia didn’t have their say to chose electives for a while. But then they could, but women could not vote until 1902 and Australia became the first ever country to give women both the right to vote and to run for federal jobs. Also aboriginals weren’t allowed to vote until 1949, and that was for people that served the army. But at 1962 all aboriginals were allowed to vote. Also you had to be 21 or over until 1973.
